Automation and Control
Having smartphone app control over your devices is just one aspect of a smart home. When developing new smart home projects, our goal is to enhance the quality of daily life by allowing devices to respond to various forms of control, seamlessly integrating into each homeowner’s routines.
This is primarily achieved through automations and remote controls.
Setting up a smart home is all about introducing new ways to manage your devices. In the past, you would simply flip a switch to turn a light on or off. With a smart home, you now have multiple options for controlling them.
Multiple Device Control
Room and Zone - based Control
To make managing your smart devices easier, assign them to specific rooms such as the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. This will simplify navigation within your home app, allowing you to control all devices in a room with just one voice command or other controls. Additionally, you can create zones, which are groups of rooms (for example, “downstairs”).
Scenes and Routines
You can configure a group of devices to turn on or off based on a specific mood or function. All devices will respond simultaneously when you activate the scene. For instance, a “Movie Time” scene might turn off all the lights while turning on your TV and ambient lighting.
Whole Home Control
When all your devices are smart, you can control your entire home with a single command or automation. Imagine leaving the house and having every light, air conditioner, fan, and other appliances turn off automatically.
Remote Controls
Room and Zone - based Control
Utilize the apps on your smartphone to manage your devices, create scenes, and set up automations. Your smart accessories are now conveniently accessible at your fingertips, even when you’re not at home. You can also establish scenes and use voice commands!
Room and Zone - based Control
Enhance accessibility in your home with dedicated wireless smart switches, which function as two-way switches without the need for wires. Place one on your bedside table to conveniently turn off your bedroom lights.
Room and Zone - based Control
Smart speakers and voice assistants on phones can control your devices and activate routines and scenes. While not everyone enjoys speaking to a machine, it provides surprisingly useful hands-free control – our parent clients can confirm!
Automation
Time - based Automation
You can schedule a smart device to turn on or off at a specific time on designated days. Additionally, you can select “Sunset” or “Sunrise,” which changes daily. The device can also be programmed to turn off automatically after a certain period.
Sensor Automation
Configure devices to turn on or off when a sensor detects activity, such as motion sensors triggering lights.
Geo location Automation
Control devices to turn on or off, or activate scenes based on your geolocation as reported by your phone.
